It is a win/win situation for him. The cheese heads will always love him so whats he got to lose? If the Packers suck this year(which of course, they will), some one else will get the blame and we will see the same off-season drama as this year!
Personaly I think it's great he's coming back, and I hope he keeps playing for another 10 years.
His play has for sure taken a slide downhill for the worst the past few seasons, and I don't see him doing any better in the future......His time has passed and I believe he only hurts the team now......Plus we have his number for sure, and that equals wins for us. So I say, welcome Bret, and hope to see you again and again and again.......
I love his looks when we beat him also.....LOL
He won't leave until they force him to.
He is only hurting the legacy that he has left... Let him stay way pass when he should have left.. When he has the most INT's thrown record when it is all said and done, maybe that will hurt his chances into the HOF.
He's gonna stay on as long as it takes for him to get the records that he wants: TDs completions INTs incompletions yards. He'll try to push the consecutive games started streak way too far for Peyton Manning, but he will be unsuccessful and Manning will not only break that record but all of the others (except INTS!!!)

Sad to say he is a first ballot HOF unless he throws like 150 INT's and like 2 TD'sQuote:

Unfortunately even if he did that williamson he will be in the HOF on the first ballot!

In a few years he'll be out there in his walker and they still won't force him to quit.Quote:

I heard Favre say that the family(immediate, mom and a few others) sat down and they all put a yeh or a nay in a hat as to "if he should play or retire." He said the entire family all said yes to playing.
My question is this. Why in the heck did it take so long for him to make the decision then?
