Favorite Coaches
I am in this coaching class for college and I was wondering who everyones favorite coaches are of any time. Right now I cant think of anyone better then Steve Mariucci. I like him because the whay he presents himself and he is so easy going. Some how he gets is players to go out and play and be just easy going and not getting into there face and make a fool of them. What can I say I just love the why he coaches and presents himself.

Re: Favorite Coaches
Bill Parcells- Not so much personally but I like that he demands perfection.
Don Shula- I like how he played to the strengths of his team rather than making players play a certain system
Basketball:
Phog Allen- Father of basketball coaching. Coached Dean Smith and Adolph Rupp(1 and 2 winningest coaches of all-time, Allen is 4th), 4 National Championships (more than K)
Bill Self

That is why he is a good coach. He may not have won the big game but he is a good coach. He gets the most out of his players, except for last week.

Re: Favorite Coaches
Well, I haven't been alive long enough to have seen some of the all time greats. Some past greats that I unfortunately haven't been able to see were:
Bud Grant
Knute Rockne
Paul Brown
My favorites that I've seen:
Lou Holtz
Bobby Bowden (even though I hate Florida St. he is still a great coach)
Joe Paterno
I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!
