    Fav-re expects to come back

FAVRE EXPECTS TO COME BACK by Michael David Smith

If the Packers lose to the Seahawks, Brett Favre will be playing his last game of the season this weekend.

But every indication is that it won't be the last game of his career...
    Nooooooooo!

    For crying out loud.
What will it take for Fav-re to retire?
Jesus, he has the chance to go out on a winning note with records in hand, yet it sounds like he is going to keep pushing the envelope until he is finally cut or forced to retire, just a shell of what he once was.

Smart people retire at the top.
Selfish people stay on until they are force out.

If I was getting paid to play ball I would play until I coughed my lungs out of my nostrils.

I don't really agree with your last sentence there

He is not selfish for staying in the game.. He still loves the game.. He loves waking up on Sundays and strapping on his helmet and tying up his cleats

He loves tossing a 60 yard bomb over defenders heads for touchdowns

The dude plain and simple loves everything about the game

Good for him, and for us too.

One more chance for us to beat him. I'd hate to have him end up sweeping us.

Thanks to PPE for the sig.

He's just staying to break records, he might as way play untill 29 days short of his 49th birthday so he can pass George Blanda.

As much as I hate Favre, I don't think he is playing because he is selfish.
He is still putting up great numbers and is coming off of a great season.
I don't think we have any reason to believe he won't be able to do as well next year, with the rest of his young team 1 more year experienced.

    Which sucks for Vikings fans.

At least Tice could beat Favre.
