    Falcons sign Pathon

Not a huge threat, but another weapon in their arsenal for this weekend.

ESPN.com's Len Pasquarelli reports free agent WR Jerome Pathon (Seahawks) has agreed to contract terms with the Atlanta Falcons, and will sign a one-year deal Wednesday, Sept. 28. Pathon flew to Atlanta Tuesday evening, Sept. 27 and is expected to be on the practice field Wednesday, Sept. 28, as the Falcons begin preparations for their Week 4 home game with the Minnesota Vikings. Atlanta will have to make a roster move to create an opening for Pathon, once he officially signs.

He won't make a impact. Vick barely throws to his own WR's. He sticks to the TE's.

Atlanta STILL doesn't have a legitimate #1 WR...but then neither do we! The difference is that while Daunte can work within that framework, Vick cannot...he isn't really capable of spreading the ball out amongst the receiving corps...he tends to focus on one or two players, mainly the TEs.
