Steve King, of ClevelandBrowns.com, reports the Atlanta Falcons rushing attack has 1,641 rushing yards after eight games, which puts them on pace to surpass the NFL single-season record for most rushing yards in a season. The previous mark is 3,165 yards, which was set by the New England Patriots in 1978. Quarterback Michael Vick has accounted for 576 of those yards, which puts him on place to also set an NFL record for single-season rushing yards by a quarterback.
