Falcons @ Bears thread
Anyone watching this game? The general consensus from the "Postseason Possibilities?" thread is that Vikes fans should want the Bears to win this game. The idea being that puts us in the best position for keeping the wildcard possiblities and the NFCN title possiblities alive. The Vikings need to win out and the Bears need to lose at Lambeau and against the Vikes for the Vikes to take the NFCN. If the Bears claim the NFCN, then there is a tie-breaker hell potential in the NFC and a Falcons loss would slightly help us in that scenario given that a whole slug of other events happen in our favor.
Go Bears....I hate to root for them, but I never have liked Ron Mexico and would like to see them go on the downward spiral.

If the Bear lose tonight and then against GB and US, WE WIN! Simple as that, too.

That's true, that's the scenario I prefer. But the Bears winning could be good and potentially help in the wildcard scenarios. The favorable alternative is to see the Bears blow their last three games and the Vikes to take the NFCN on Jan. 1.

It appears, like many of our thoughts on these message boards, that it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. We just need the Packers to beat the Bears and we need to win out.
The weather is brutal tonight in the windy city, gotta love it.

I think we have a better chance at the North Title then we do at Wildcard. We lost to Bucs, Panthers, and Falcons. Giants will win NFC east, so tiebreaker against them is moot. With The Redskins and Dallas in the mix.....
I say we take the North! Go Ron Mexico! and then Go Lambeau!something witty and comical... followed by genuine sarcasm.

It is hard to believe that Orton has that many wins under his belt.

3-0. That could very well be the final score.
