Falcons | Abraham acquired in trade

Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports the New York Jets have traded DE John Abraham to the Atlanta Falcons as part of a three-way trade between the Jets, Falcons and the Denver Broncos. If the trade is approved, then the Falcons will have traded their first-round pick, No. 15 overall, to Denver, who in turn will trade their first-round pick, No. 29 overall, and two additional picks to Atlanta. Atlanta then sends the 29th pick to the Jets for Abraham. The Jets would receive a draft pick two slots higher in the first round than the Seattle Seahawks were able to offer.

Re: Falcons | Abraham acquired in trade
who do you think the broncos will draft with that #15 pick
Re: Falcons | Abraham acquired in trade
I wonder what Denver has in mind at #15 if they're giving up that many picks for that spot
Re: Falcons | Abraham acquired in trade
damn, that might throw a loop into the draft

What else...ANOTHER RUNNING BACK!!!
I wonder if Maurice Clarett will still be on the board when they pick???
Re: Falcons | Abraham acquired in trade
I guess we can assume that they won't pull the trigger on a QB, can't we?
Re: Falcons | Abraham acquired in trade
i read some where they were trying to deal away BOTH of their first rounders for first rounders next year. i heard it on espn.
Re: Falcons | Abraham acquired in trade
I hope Denver doesn't take one of our linebackers that we need at #17
Plus I wonder if the falcons who are getting two additional draft picks to go along with Abraham (steal for them IMO) will make it harder for teams to try and trade for Schaub now. I know you can't really have enough draft picks... but I think the Falcons will be content with where they are at right now and keep him.

Maybe they are waiting for Vince Young to drop to them...that way Jake can tutor him on how to win games!!!
