Thread: "expert" predictors

wow i was looking at espn's "experts" and i was almost surprised, they don't seem to be very good predictors considering its their job and they are supposed to be experts. jowarski, espn's expert with the best score has 47 games predicted wrong. i think that is crazy, i have gotten 27 wrong this season, im not trying to brag and i don't consider myself an expert on football by any means, but i just think that it is crazy that these guys get that bad of a record and still feel they can write articles and call themselves experts.

i am trying to figure out if the average guys can outpick an "expert" please let me know all your records if you keep anything like that, or at least a rough estimate. so you could call this a brag thread i guess

47 wrong is pretty insane and that's the best? He's not even a statistitian (sp?). I've always thought being an "expert" predictor for the NFL would be the best job on earth; watch football, read stats, make blind predictions based on what happened last week, last time they played, last season and get paid. Dr. Z is the worst.....

its possible that they just go around and average the power rankings from all the other sites and make their predictions from that, lol.
