Evolution of Monday Night Football openers

Just a little bit of nostalgia for us...

    1973

    And one of my favorites:
The Vikings/Washington intro from last year MNF week 1.
I love hearing Shaper in the locker room "Do you hear that?
    They don't respect us!".

The one from the 70's must have been made for the stoner's of the 60's

Put MNF back on ABC and get rid rid of Cornholio.

    Thanks NP, that was great.
Back in the days before satellite TV and cable MNF was it.
That was the only chance you had to see what was going on around the league.
Howard Cosell's half-time show was the highlight of the week for football fans.
Technology has come a long way.

    That's for sure.
I can hear the music now, playing over Howard's highlights.
