Re: Evaluating the NFC North
It seems to me that the bears really havn't upgraded anything.. they brought in better help on the oline. but they lost more then i believe they have gained.
the kitties.. well.. they will always be the kitties.. maybe start fast.. but die early.
the puckers.. will have to find a rythem to play with now that farve is gone. His ability at QB will be very very difficult to fix, and I don't think rodgers will step in and pull of the miracle.
As for the Vikes. well. i have a good feeling about the D. and a rising optimism about the O. I think we'll get a very good view of the big picture that was being preached to us from the beginning of bchill's reign. It should be interesting to see if the KAO really does KA!!!
I will put my prediction saying this.. with 17+ points per game.. I believe we can win cleanly the NFC North.
and with 20+ points per game.. we can be in the upper elite of the NFC

Re: Evaluating the NFC North
Very nice break down.
I guess everything is looking up for us, on paper, in the division with respect to what has transpired in the offseason.
To bad we have to play the games.
;DMany many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

Re: Evaluating the NFC North
Not a key question IMO. The man had 15 1/2 sacks last year playing next to who?•KEY QUESTIONS: Can Jackson become a solid NFL quarterback? [s]How much of a difference will Allen make on a pass defense that’s ranked last in the league the last two years?[/s] What happens if LT Bryant McKinnie gets suspended for four games for off-field incidents? Can RB Adrian Peterson stay healthy with such a violent running style?

Who else in the AFC was doing anything great last season?"The Packers will play host to Dallas on Sept. 21 in what was expected to be the matchup in last season’s NFC championship game. They play the Colts on Oct. 19 in what was expected to be the matchup in last season’s Super Bowl."

Re: Evaluating the NFC North
Thanks singer.
IMHO.
Bears:They have not adquired enough players to the franchise to be a contender ,they
still have that Qb Dilema and many problems for moving the chains. It can be a long season in Soldier Field If they don´t solve their QB problems . Grade D.
Lions:The Kitties are weird ,have real good players and a bad team, historically they are a loser team and that fact ,it gives me the impression, affects them in crucial situations like closing games.
John Kitna has said again they ll pin 10 this year,I wouldn´t put my money on that.Grade: C.
Sheep lovers:Puckers are a bit under-rated this off-season,yep I know Farve won´t be on the fields anymore, but they are a very solid team in every apsect of the game, they didn´t get 13 and almost clinched a SB Ticket
last year for free,I like their lines and wing players (WR and CB),They will be on the spot for NFC North .Grade:B.
Vikings:Best D and running game in the entire NFC(or at least I hope so).Good trades in the off-season..
As everybody knows the QB is a the great
"to be or not to be" for us ,unexperienced players in the O-key positions
could also be a headache.Grade: B+.
El underdog.
