ESPN Commentators
I HATE them so much more after last night's game.
Yes, it was an ugly game for the most part.
But after the first quarter they did not have a single good thing to say about either team for the rest of the game.
They were talking about the game like it was "the battle of two inept teams."
There is still plenty of good stuff to say about both teams.
Maybe they could have mentioned that it was a close game between us and THE REIGNING NFC CHAMPIONS?
Just because the Bears are having a down season does not mean there won't be games when it is tough to beat them, they DID make it to the Superbowl last year.
AllI heard throughout the game was "rookie wall" "bad decision" "rookie mistake"...and it was mostly Kornholer, I hate him.

Re: ESPN Commentators
I will have to agree, I was completely disappointed in Jaws and Tirico and got out of Cornhole what was expected.
However,........
Alot of thier observations about how bad the offenses were had some merit.
I just wish they could've got names correct, pointed out the bad line play and did some actual reporting other than to ramble on about how bad each team was.
Very poor job IMHO.
;DMany many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

And I don't know how many times they said that Peterson was the ball carrier when it was Taylor.

Re: ESPN Commentators
We all know Cornhole is an idiot.
However, I don't disagree with anything they said.
In fact, they were dead on most of the time IMO.
The only thing I did disagree with was Jaws trying to make excuses for TJack by saying it's only his 12th start.
The fact is they were 2 good teams looking pretty pathetic at times.
Sure defenses did a great job but both offenses had their chances and didn't get it done on several instances.
Let's take the pre-snap penalties by the Bears.
Let's take the turnovers by the Vikings in which 3 of them could have been avoided if people were focused.
It was obvious it was a sloppily played game even if the defenses were playing well.

Re: ESPN Commentators
Kornholer even dis'd the city (well at least the weather).
Yesterday was a beautiful day.
I felt Tarvaris didn't deserve being ripped as he was.
It was clearly his worst game of the 2nd half of the season, but he was leagues above Kyle Orton.
The one floater was poor judgment but some of the stuff wasn't his fault, such as the tip int.
He ended up with some decent stats too.
The Bears defense should get some credit - They came to play.
I think it was mostly Kornheiser ripping Tavaris.

Re: ESPN Commentators
ESPN has turned MNF into a circus, IMHO. Too much about other things and not enough attention paid to the game.

I actually like the MNF format now. I could not stand Joe Theisman. MNF is being run like the ESPN show PTI. I like PTI so it works for me.

Re: ESPN Commentators
Kornheiser sucks. He's the most annoying MNF commentator ever IMO. PTI sucks too IMO and it's painful to have to see a miniature version of that show during halftime every Monday now. The day Kornheiser leaves MNF and is replaced by pretty much anybody else is the day that it improves by leaps and bounds.
