TD's alone don't tell the whole story, what about Frerotte running last weeks 1 yard td? If AD got that it would've been diffrent. You should look who contributes most for their team, in what kind of position he brings them, not only TD's, yards and averages etc etc.
Jimmy K put us into position to score that TD, not AD.

And when you look at those contributions, you need to look at all the things a RB is supposed to do. That includes being able to catch the ball & be able to pass block.

In those last two categories, AD is nowhere near the top of the heap. In fact, when it comes to receptions by RB's, AD is tied for 39th in the NFL this year.
I didn't meant it was AD, but what if he got that TD? it tells a diffrent story, how could he be the #1 rb when you have such a great tandem as we got?

I agree with you that he isn't a good pass blocker and CT is a better receiver.
    He would have 10 TD's then compared to Turner's & Jones' 13.

Thank God we do have C-Tay, because if we had to rely solely on AD pass blocking & trying to catch all the passes that C-Tay has caught, we wouldn't be sitting in first place right now IMO.

AD gets far too much credit for what he does here on PP.O & Taylor gets far too little.

Do you realize how little a RB does pass block? And he is there to run, not be a Reggie Bush...... :
    Are you serious?

A RB is expected to block on the majority of the pass plays where he is not the intended receiver or a check down guy. What do you think his roll is when he isn't?

Why do you think C-Tay is in there on 3rd down pass plays & AD is riding the pine?

Because Chester is the expert 3rd and long draw guy. On 3rd and long Taylor will pick up 2-3 yards on a draw everytime

depends on the system, in our system our RB's block quite a bit, and then drop out as a check down reciever if he QB still has no open options

Do you have stats or a link to back up your claim?

    I didn't think so.
