Emmitt Smith - Under the Radar
Man this guy was left for dead last year and goes to the worthless Cards and now is approaching 18,000 yards.
People said he should retire and he didn't. People said he would look like Franco and OJ, stinking it up for a worthless team.
He isn't the Emmitt of old but he still is a good RB.

If he plays one more year, he may make the yards record unreachable in today age of injuries. Man that is a lot of yards.
He should make a 1,000 yd season again this year. Hambrick has been getting about 40 yds/game also in an effort to prolong Emmitt a bit longer.

Emmitt Smith - Under the Radar
I never understood people that say a player should retire. As physical a game as football is, with the beating these guys take if they have the desire to suit up after all those years then good for them.

Emmitt Smith - Under the Radar
Man what I don't get is Hambrick runs behind Smith he does well. He gets his own show, he sucks.
He goes to AZ and follows Smith again and he has days like he had today. 4 carries for 70 yds or some rediculous number like that. He has out rushed Smith a couple of time this year with less carries.
I think what it really says is how bad the Dallas O-line is. If the line was better, I bet that E.George would be doing better also. Too bad for George, makes him look like a Franco in Seattle.

Denny is doing a hell of a job down there. He has the team believing. That is helping Emmitt prolong his career. Emmitt had high praises for Denny and the feeling he gives the Cards. He was quoted that this is the "same feeling that the teams in Dallas had when they were in their prime." The record isn't there but the spirit is.
He did pass the 18,000 mark. WOW. That is almost unobtainable. Every record is meant to be broken. Good luck to the one that does it.
James????
O.Smith???
Tomlinson???
Man you will have to start getting 1200 tard season at the age of 20 to catch Emmitt. If you are 24 when you start your NFL playing time, just forget it.
