    Interesting read...I think it's B.S.

I'm impressed that somebody was even able to make an argument out of it though, which this author definitely did.

    Re: Eli > Peyton

I think they are very close at this point

Peyton is on the downfall of his career.. Eli is still on the rise

I give Peyton the edge even though he hasn't played that well.. His knee has to be bothering him

Eli won't quite be on his level but at some point in thier careers Eli will be better then Peyton at the time.. Probably this year or next

    stats-wise, yes, overall, no.
Eli is doing very well, but keep in mind, Peyton has a knee injury that is probably still bugging him, his line is shaky, not to mention his best reciever is on the decline, and hasn't done anything for two years.

    True that

They also have Reggie Wayne and Anthony Gonzalez though

And Joseph Addai is a very good back

But knee injuries are hard to overcome

He will hit his stride later in the season.. He is one of the best of all time IMO

I always have liked Eli more than Peyton.

    Re: Eli > Peyton

Eli has been better this year. But if you look at the span of their careers so far, obviously Peyton is better and I think he will be better when both careers are over.

But Eli has been real impressive. I love anyone who beats takes the Patriots record to 18-1.
