Re: An Edwards Article for Cajun (the only one who cares...)

Dude, AJ Smith sounds like a d*ck from some of the quotes in the article...
Is he just trying to ruin this team and chase Marty out of town? First he refuses to resign Brees, and is now trying to get rid of one of their great playmakers on defense.
PM me if you'd like a sig.

Personally, I don't think there is intelligent life on other planets. Why should other planets be any different from this one?

I almost always agree with the cajun, except for some of the pervy stuff lol.
So I'm still on the Edwards bandwagon.

Re: An Edwards Article for Cajun (the only one who cares...)

    I'm not sold, here's why:

    The guy is 33
The guy is coming off an injury
The guy has a year left on his contract
The guy likely wouldn't provide much of a leadership upgrade over what we have
The guy likely wouldn't provide any athleticism upgrade over what we have
The guy doesn't have cover 2 experience (as far as I know, I could be wrong)
We would have to trade something for him
Having him play would delay the development of our current crop of young linebackers.
    etc. etc. etc.

What, is EJ a bad player all of a sudden? We have 3 very talented linebacker fighting for the MLB spot, why trade to add another one? It's just not worth it.

I m like a Ja Rule poster, cause I'm off the wall.

all of a sudden? EJ hes no MLB for sure. we have 3 talented OLB, none of which proved anything as MLB. a veteran can stabalize these guys till next years when we finally draft a MLB.

Sorry guys, but the fact that he only has a year left on his contract (and he wants to make his next one a big payday), is a red flag. He may make things better for a year, but he's gonna want way too much money after the season is over. If the coaches don't see it happening, there's a reason. Have faith in the staff.

I've never seen so much hype about why we should sign a player when he's currently signed with another team. It doesn't bother me, just making an observation.
