Eagles' Jackson will miss rest of season
I was one of the people who wanted this guy tough break (no pun) for the Eagles.
PHILADELPHIA -- Eagles starting free safety Marlin Jackson suffered a ruptured right Achilles tendon in practice Tuesday and will miss the 2010 season.

The rigors of Spartan life. Leonidas is cast out into the wild, and survives the harsh winter to return to his home, when he is crowned King ....a Viking!

Re:Eagles' Jackson will miss rest of season
I'm sure like most people, I thought it was Desean Jackson. Just Marlin Jackson.
Wasn't there something like this on ESPN or NFL where there was a headline with a player getting traded/injured/released and everyone thought it was a big name player, but it was really just a scrub with the last name? It was pretty recent.
And weren't a bunch of people on here wanting to bring in this guy but the knock on him was too many injuries? Guess we lucked out.I am NOT here to provide good football insight or rational observations. I am an emotional 19 year old Viking fan and I expect you to adjust your expectations from my posts.

I think that this points to the issue the Eagles will have. The level of their success will be measured by how well their Defense plays. I dont see a big drop off on the offensive side of the ball (Theyre Loaded). They got old on Defense quickly not to mention losing one of the better Defensive coordinators in recent memory IMHO.

I will also suggest to you to draft a kicker early. So important to have a really good one in the playoffs.gregair13 wrote:

absolutely, if there's a guy you want, be sure you get him, even if that means taking him a round or two early.slavinator wrote:
