    Drew Pearson remembers "Hail Mary"

    http://www.reporternews.com/news/2008/jun/27/ex-cowboy-teamwork-key-in-all-ventures/

Former Dallas Cowboys great Drew Pearson reached for his cell phone and addressed the media: "I'd better turn this off before I get a call from (team owner) Jerry Jones," he joked.

Pearson, who played for the Cowboys from 1973-83, visited Abilene on Thursday to speak at the Salvation Army's "A Century of Service" celebration at the Abilene Civic Center...

"That was of course a big play in Cowboy history and a play that we needed. Everybody really talks about the Hail Mary, but they have a tendency to forget we had a fourth-and-16 two plays before that. If we didn't hit that play, the game's over," Pearson said.
I actually missed the "Hail Mary" cause I was still pissed over that one. > > > >

Just in case we have some who didn't get to see the game, here is some other stuff/fallout from the game, especially Frans loss.

I remember the game and play all to well.....My best friend Mike C., we where in his basement watching the game on TV, he was and still is a die hard Cowgirl fan.....I didn't talk to him for about a month...LOL

Worst non called penalty I ever seen in my life.....The refs had to be getting some coin, I truly believe that to this day..

I LOVE THE SMELL OF VICTORY IN THE MORNING AIR.

Another prime example of a call that shouldn't have happened if the team would have done its job on the 4th and 16.
