    Ten biggest winners

    1. Minnesota receivers coach George Stewart. People who say Percy Harvin is a risk don't know Stewart. He can handle him. He handled Terrell Owens in San Francisco. And he can help Harvin. In fact, it was Stewart who went to bat for the guy. Trust me, without Stewart, the Vikings wouldn't have gone after Harvin. If he stays healthy and out of trouble, the Vikings just stole one of the draft's top playmakers.

MINNESOTA: It's all about Percy Harvin. He's the quick slot man the Vikings' offense needs, and he can make plays with the ball in his hands. This is a great fit for them. Phil Loadholt is limited to right tackle only, but he's better than Ryan Cook, and this might allow Cook to move to center, where he played some in college.

Jasper Brinkley/MLB/Minnesota/5th round: Brinkley played well as a senior and posted terrific workouts in the run up to the draft. Concerns about his surgically-repaired knee pushed him two rounds deeper into the draft than his talents warrant. Brinkley offers starting potential should he stay healthy.

The Vikings were losers, because I think they're going rue the day they selected Florida receiver Percy Harvin, this draft's poster-child for character issues. It's not just the marijuana use in Harvin's background, it's the widespread reports that he's a bit of a punk who believes the world revolves around him.

Minnesota. Percy Harvin needs the best babysitter in the great north woods. Brad Childress' fate may rest with whether Harvin keeps his head on straight ... Phil Loadholt, the biggest, baddest tackle on the board, also has NFL people who don't trust him to be an Eagle Scout, but he should walk onto the team as the starting right tackle.
