The Dolphins continue to shop John Beck and indicated they would like a fourth-round pick in return but are unlikely to get that, an NFC executive said this week....

You have to start wonder if it were all Spielmans fault that they have had such poor drafts, like everyone would have us believe when he became our VP of Player Personnel.

Spielman had his share of poor moves outside of the draft, such as acquiring A.J. Feely for a 2nd round pick.

The year he was drafted it was said that Beck was going to be the starter there.
Now in a couple short years he hasn't seen a meaningful NFL snap (though what Dolphin QB has in the past few years) and is being shopped for a 4th round pick that they won't get.
What a landslide.

A couple short years? He was a rookie last year... he was drafted in the same draft with Peterson.

I was with a Dolphins fan while watching that draft and everyone thought they were going to take Brady Quinn... but my buddy said, "Watch... if there's one team that will fuck this up, it's the Dolphins"

What do you know? They drafted Ginn Jr... and then take Beck later on.

Beck sucks... he's absolutely awful.

I'm sorry you are right... For some reason I had it in my head that he was a year before the coming of Purple Jesus.

I wasn't over joyed when they got Foley and was even less impressed when they tapped Ole Ricky boy but one has to say he has done a fine job in the Triad in MN (at least with the small sample size we have to go off of).
