Do YOU want tickets to Super Bowl XLIII?
I post this every year, but this time I have proof that it actually works...
For those who don’t know, Mrs NP and I got to go to the Super Bowl because I won the NFL’s annual random drawing for Super Bowl tickets.
The NFL makes a small percentage (about 1%) of the tickets available for purchase by the general public through an annual random drawing.
If you win, you can purchase a pair of tickets directly from the NFL at face value.
The seating is determined randomly, and the wifey and I ended up in the NFC end zone, lower level.
There are pics in another thread.
I am definitely going to enter again.
If anyone else is interested, this is all you have to do:
• Send a request to be entered in the drawing to:
Super Bowl Random Drawing
P.O. Box 49140
Strongsville, OH
44149-0140
• Make sure you specify that you are requesting to be entered in the drawing for two (2) tickets to Super Bowl XLIII, to be held in Tampa Bay, FL on February 1st, 2009.
• Send your ticket Request through certified or registered mail.
I would put some type of confirmation receipt on it as well.
The NFL does NOT send any correspondence to let you know that they received your entry.
• Entries are accepted between Feb 1 and June 1.
• Only one request per household is accepted. Duplicates are disregarded.
Good luck!
Of course, the Vikings are going to be playing in Super Bowl XLIII, so I will be going no matter what…

Correct - it doesn't cost anything to enter.it doesnt cost anything right, besides the stamp of course
If you win however, you win the chance to buy the tickets at face value.
This year we paid $1440 for the pair.Zeus wrote:

In one of your pictures, you said something like "Leaving the House for the game".
What house?

Since we had confirmation for tickets LONG before most fans did, we were able to book our flights in late November - before the airlines jacked the prices up."NodakPaul" wrote:

The difference in airfare from when we bought our tickets to what it was the day after the NFC Championship game was over $1000 for the pair.
As far as the house, my wife's bosses have a summer house in Phoenix.
They graciously offered it to us for the Super Bowl, saving us a lot of money in hotels.
It was a beautiful house, complete with heated outdoor pool, putting green, and hot tub.
But even if we did not have the house, we still could have booked our hotel early enough to save a lot of money.Zeus wrote:
