DL Rankings: Giants are good but Chargers are better

Best player: RE Jared Allen. Weak link: LE Ray Edwards.

The skinny: The addition of Allen really makes this one of the league's best groups. He is scary good at times. He joins the best tackle combo in the league in Pat Williams and Kevin Williams, the latter the better of the two. Kevin Williams is one of the NFL's best. Edwards has some pass-rush ability, which should compliment this elite threesome. Backups Ellis Wyms, Fred Evans and Brian Robison are all good players to have around.

OMG! like in Madden Kevin Williams and Jared Allen are both 97, Pat Williams is 98 and Ray edwards is 83!!!
They're definetally better, this guy doesn't know what he's talking about.
Seriously, he just needs to look at the new madden ratings!!!!

how the hell do 3-4 teams get to include their OLBs, i guess they are allowed to have 5 Dlineman, F that, i saw we were 2nd and thought the giants would be ahead of us, thats some BS. I still think we are even with the giants as best DLs, but after this year, and ray edwards showing up and surprising everyone, we will be the clear cut favorites

lol, only he would put a defensive line that got torched for 378 rushing yards (8.8 per carry) and 4 TDs in a game as the #1 defensive line in football...

As for the Giants, their tackles are average, Strahan may retire, and Umenyiora is one-dimensional.
They just get publicity because they played well in the playoffs.

I can see the chargers as they have name recognition, and as an overall avg did well. The Giants i guess cause they found their rythem at the right time and played as a team unit well in the playoffs. I think these are still OFF-Season ratings which mean very little to the up and coming season.

Remember how every1 drooled on the Bears D after their SB run, and they came back as we noodles..

I think by week 6. we will have more then just the anal-ysts
but the x-player experts just droooooling over our D line and D in general. It just shows more and more that Bchill was practicing what he was preaching when he said.. "It all starts in the trenches"
