INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- New England running back Corey Dillon, 14th on the NFL's career rushing list, intends to ask the Patriots for his release and will likely retire, although he is leaving the door open to joining another team, according to published reports.
"There comes a time in your football career when you come to a conclusion and I'm at mine," Dillon told The Boston Globe. "I don't need to play."

I surly would not be broken up if we signed Cory. Chester needs some backup to be sure as he got a bit worn out late in the season. Is he the answer?? Nope.... Would he help? Yep......
