Detriot Lions cut WR Charles Rogers

DETROIT (AP) - Charles Rogers was cut by the Detroit Lions on Saturday, three years after they drafted the receiver second overall.

Rogers' Detroit career ended with only 36 receptions for 440 yards and four touchdowns along with two broken collarbones and a four-game suspension.

First-year coach Rod Marinelli was unimpressed by Rogers work ethic and production during training camp, when he was slowed by a sore knee. The new staff also did not have a history with Rogers like team president Matt Millen, who helped draft the former Michigan State star and gave him a $14.2 million signing bonus.

I really hope most people feel like this.
My guess his next landing spot is the Raiders. He fits right in with something Al "i'm on my lastleg" Davis would do.

He is really tempting with all that talent, but i dont think the vikings need to bring in a questionable player after all thats happend. Heres to him going to the Raiders!

Someone tell that weird a** little bald headed man to drop one of his Philly friends on the roster and go pick up Rogers....I know we are building a team based on character but you have to have some talent to go along with that in the National Football league...Detroit has once again made another poor football decision(you have to love Millen) and I for one am all about taking advantage and adding someone who hasn't had their "Eagle" wings clipped. Dear 8lb 6oz sweet baby jesus...go sign Charles Rogers....
