He took a beating in that game.
Carried a lot with less than a 2 yd average.
Did you see the hits Urlacher was dealing those guys.

Those numbers are straight off the NFL home page.

Those little numbers and his huge fumble are not only costing the Cardinals millions of dollars.

A 3.1 AVG is a full yard lower than his second worst AVG in his rookie year.

Looks like he got the big deal and decided to quit.

I can't think of anything to say about him, especially after some of the poor defenses he has already played against.

And don't give me the line excuse, I think they are above average.

I will however, eat a big spoon of crow after really wanting the front office to sign him

    Wha?!
That was one of the worst offensive line performances in the history of the NFL. Where were Edge's holes? umm....I didn't see any.
Brian Urlacher himself said he didn't get blocked all night. That's probably an exaggeration, but seriously, how do you not block the best defensive player in the NFL?
I will give you the line excuse because they allowed two sacks for fumbles (followed by touchdown returns). That's terrible. The only time Leinart could get a clean pass off was in the shotgun formation.
And as far as Edge was concerned, I saw him fighting for every yard he got, but the poor guy ran the ball 36 times into a wall of bears for 3 straight hours. Eventually you're going to tire out.

I thought the O-line did a damn good job. Especially considering they suck. Edge isn't suffering from a lack of effort he is suffering from Liwinski Vikings trash and other O-lineman who can't open a hole.

As far as the fumble thats on him. You don't complain your not getting the ball in the 4th Quarter and then fumble it when you do. That's all Edge.

Re: Denny Green flips wig video

I know some people have hard feelings toward Denny, but we needed to rally around him in that game if not for the Vikings sake, just for the sake of shutting up all the analysts that said "I don't think anyone can beat the bears, they are going to go 16-0." That is a load of Bullsh*t. The Vikes had a chance in week 3 and the Cards had a chance last night. It just goes to show you that teams are not all they are cracked up to be. I mean what made me even sicker is the interview with Urlacher after the game. He made it sound like it was some huge plot by Lovie Smith to let the Cards get up by 20 and the Bears were going to show they could come back. Man what that guy needs is a ego check and somebody better give it to him soon.

Without further analysis it's tough for me to say one way or the other that the Cards have an above average O-line.
I would tend to go with average to below average.

    Game 1:
    Edge 26 att/73 yds TD (against 9ers)

    Game 2;
    Edge: 18/64 (against Seachickens)

    Game 3:
Edge: 24/94 1 TD (against Rams)

    Game 4:
    20/41 (against Falcons)

    Game 5:
    24/71 (against Chiefs)

    Geme 6:
    36/55 (against Bears)

Give the Bears some credit where it's due, but it appears to be a combination of Edge losing a step and their O-line being mediocre at best.

    What is up with Grossman?
That guy commits six turnovers and Bears' fans are still drooling on hm.
    The Bears are very beatable.

Denny Green is another in a long list of head-cases in the NFL.
That clip just reminds me of him going off after he released his book.
Hopefully they keep him as HC, because there are enough Kornholer/Sunshine commentators out there.

    That was a tough loss

I have a couple of questions, to me it looked like there might have been a couple of penalties that didn't get called on the Bears in the 4th.

On the punt return for a TD it looked like #21 Dante Wesley was holding early in the return

Second, when the Cards were moving the ball before the punt, one of their WR's was tied up and Urlacher came flying in helmet first and smoked him.
That could of been a 15 yarder.

I'm thinking if this happened in the first half there would have been one flag on either play, but I guess the ref's didn't want to stop a Bears comeback.

Anyone else see this or are my old eyes just hating the Bears

I think Denny's freakout was sweet.

It's freakin hillarious. No matter how many times you watch it.

He went from elation at how his team was doing in the first half, to something like hitting a brick wall, but the bricks are made of special-teams breakdowns and turnovers.

I swear he almost cried and peed, right there at the podium, at the exact same time.

    Poor guy.
