    Last time I checked hundreds of teams have made it to the playoffs without them.

    Having the abilitly to be a coach is special.....but it doens't mean everyone who can coach can be a Head Coach. I thikn if Jack does get let go bu the Jags, he is best suited to be a defensive coordinator. He was a very good defensive player, does in my opinion have the ability to coach, but I don't think he is good head coach.

    i agree, some people are born to be a head coach, some just co-ordinators...but that doesn't take anything away from them, a team with good co-ordinators has a great chance even with a mediocre HC...

    as for tice, i only had the "privilage" of seeing him coach one game...that would be the game in new york against the giants 1.5 yrs ago....the game where HE managed to get a penalty for the team....he was a little red flag happy if you ask me aswell....he's probably a great TE coach tho lol
