Thread: Deion Branch *Hold Out* maybe a *Vike*

I'm just wondering. Can Minnesota go after Deion Branch?


He is holding out for the Pats. I think he would be a GREAT pickup?

I wonder what the cost would be?
A couple of first round picks?
Some cash who knows.

I'm just thinking with K-Rob pretty much gone.

My question do you think the Vikes should go after Branch?

i do NOT think the vikings should give up only "a couple of first round picks"
mabye 1 first, but i'd rather that not happen.
we're not as bad as some people think at WR.
there are some teams in the league who have one ok reciever and 3 bad ones and they still manage

first of all, no way vikes give up a couple first round picks for him

second of all, he will resign w/ the pats very soon. new england is like 13 mill under the cap, are in desperate need of receivers, and branch is brady's absolute favorite target. he'll hold out a little longer but will sign before the season starts.

The Providence Journal reports New England Patriots WR Deion Branch gave an interview to CBS-4 in Boston Tuesday evening, Aug. 22, telling the channel's Steve Burton, "I'm pretty sure everything's gonna work out. Everything's gonna work out." Asked if he missed playing, Branch said, "I'm human. I have my days and ups and downs. I realize it's business and what they're doing is business." Asked if he considered the $14,000 per day he's being fined, Branch joked, "I haven't really thought about it." Branch said he'd watched the team's first two preseason games and that he believed the offense was running well. It will run better, he added, "When and if I get back."
