Now this has nothing to do with who we pickup inFA or anything like that.
This is just a hypothetical question i'd like to hear what others have to think about
It seems now, the idea with ends is have the faster end, playing RDE so he can rush the qb's blind side.
Offenses adjust to this by overpaying Great athletic LT's to contain these pass rushers, often leaving their right side of the O line vulnerable.
but when you think about it, how often is the qb's left side his only true blind spot?? not all the time, only if he's throwing to the middle or right of the field.
If he's throwing to the left half of the field, he's looking directly at the RDE, leaving his right side open.
Wouldn't it make sense, to start putting your great pass rushing DE as LDE to take advantage of the mismatch, Kinda like what they do with Strahan on the Giants?
