Davis' tampering claims could cost Raiders cash, draft picks
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3633589
"The memo also warns team owners and officials that making false claims leaves them open to NFL-imposed sanctions."
I wonder if anything will happen to the packers for the false charges against us?

Nothing will happen to the Packers.
The situations are completely different.
The packers raised the flag privately to the NFL, never talking to the press directly about it.
They also did it right away.
Senile Al hald a press conference and blatantly made allegations of tampering, even though no charges were ever filed with the NFL.
And the incident was more than 18 months ago - hardly a timely manner as required.Zeus wrote:
When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?

How about that.
Getting punished for accusing CONVICTED cheaters of cheating.
I should expect nothing more from a league who willingly gave the Patriots three Super Bowl Championships in exchange for $750,000 in fines!
A very small price to pay.A good friend will help you move...a best friend will help you move a body.

A known overbearing dick owner by the name of Al Davis making loose accusations about tampering 18 months after the deal is just silly.
The guy hires coaches, tries to force their resignation, and then has a history of not even paying his coaches he fires for bad reasons.
The guy is a dink and he is just as bad as Hank Steinbrenner.
He should keep his mouth shut, and worry more about his horribly run franchise than some fictional perceived wrong from a year and a half ago.
