Daunte's best days are behind him, and I would'nt be surpised if he ends up as a back up for the rest of his career.

When the HC says there will be an 'open competition', that means there is no clear front-runner.
That may be due to DC's CURRENT injury status.
But that's certainly not a ringing endorsement for him to be the starter again.
And it doesn't buttress any of the claims of Daunte's supporters, some of whom still say he will return as a superstar again.

With David Carr joining Carolina, the Dolphins might have to turn their sights back to the Chiefs' Trent Green for a backup.

Man I'm gald Minnesota dumped PEP. This could be our nightmare. I'm still a huge PEP fan but from the business side of football good move. Good luck though PEP.

Daunte Culpepper's future with Miami is tenuous as he rehabilitates his knee. It's not the only issue as minicamp opened, but it is the biggest.

He hasn't played healthy in almost two years, I don't think you can make a judgment on an injured player.

We'll see how he does when/if he plays healthy, and then I'll judge.
