    Re: Daunte done in Miami?

    Green has been good.
Can he stay on the field?
Will or is he susceptible to the concussion?

    Let TJ play.

Green doesn't want to be a back up.

I am not opposed to him coming here, probably better off in Mia though.

He would be a role model type player.
He seems squeeky clean and can play ball.

As far as DC goes, he hasn't even had a chance to redeem himself yet.

Yeah, well Green better face the facts that he is gonna be a backup.

Couple more months of being a free agent will make him come around.

I'll pass on Trent Green coming here.
I would rather have some youth at the position rather than wasting a couple years w/ Green in there.

There is no way we are going after Trent Green.
Did you not read the Wilf/Childress build for the future strategy.
It does not include picking up a 37 yr old QB with a year or two left in him.
We could have kept BJ if thats all we wanted.
Unless there is a good FA QB that has at least 10 good years in him we are not going to be interested.

Dolphins | Culpepper convinced he can return to form
    Sat, 7 Apr 2007 06:52:11 -0700

Alex Marvez and Harvey Fialkov, of the Sun-Sentinel, report Miami Dolphins QB Daunte Culpepper believes he is still capable of being the team's starting quarterback once healthy. "When I'm healthy it won't matter," Culpepper said. "Without a doubt, (I'm still the man). I definitely want to be the (Dolphins') quarterback and that's what I'm working hard to be. Like I said, when I'm healthy, it's no issue."

Dolphins | Culpepper to be kept out of minicamp
    Sat, 7 Apr 2007 05:59:12 -0700

Alex Marvez and Harvey Fialkov, of the Sun-Sentinel, report Miami Dolphins QB Daunte Culpepper (knee) says he will not fully participate in the team's first minicamp next weekend.

    ************************************************** ****************

The first item shows a statement with a Denny Green style of speaking; e.g. "When we play like we play, no one can play like we can when we know we can play and like we play when we can play like we know we can play..."

The two news items above, considered individually, are informative.
Taken as a pair, they seem to be contradictory,
    ???
    and amusing.

When we stop to think about it, most folks behavior isn't perplexing after all !

Poor foolish Daunte, and poor foolish dolphins if they don't get rid of him.....he is a waste of cap space that can only do well if he has Moss on his team.

    Thanks Josdin00 for the sig!
