    Dallas will beat the Redskins

    I know...
    Why?
Washington is favored by 9 points.
    9 points!?!?!?!
Conventional wisdom has everything pointing towards a Redskin victory.

But let me state the opposing arguments.

    - Winning is very important to the Cowboys, in particular this year.
To a division rival no less.

    - Romo is key to a Cowboy victory, he should/needs to play.
Terry Glenn is back from IR and they need to re-establish some chemistry in a game going into the playoffs.

    - Cowboys have been flat for the past 3 weeks.
I don't think they want to roll into the playoffs with this type of finish.
Build momentum with a huge victory over their divisional rival.

    - Avoid the rust build up from an additional week off.
Let's look at the Colts from 05.
Heavy favorites, sat their starters last game of the season (barely slid by horrible Cards), then was upset by the Steelers.

    - Bottom line, they really don't need Romo or TO for the win.
Dallas will bring the main ingredient that will kill the Redskins.
Something that the Vikes failed to do... PASS RUSH.
Collins played the game of his life last week.
Do you really think he will do it twice?
    :
    With Dallas' Pass Rush??
Oh... And ROY WILLIAMS will be back and fired up.
    He will play for sure.

I for one feel halfway confident that them Cowboys will 'upset' the Redskins in their home.

    GO COWBOYS!!

Maybe....but that does not change the fact that we have to win at mile high.....no easy task in December.

Looks like it should be decent weather. No snow and a high of 38 forecast. Go Vikings!!

Well, confident enough to play a sizable wager on the 9 point spread.

    Seriously though, 13-3 vs. 14-2.
14-2 would be the best record IN THE STORIED HISTORY OF THE DALLAS COWBOYS.
    Who would care about that??
Oh, I'd say the legend/legacy seeking, egomaniac Jerry Jones himself.
So obsessed putting his mark on history that possessing the greatest record in team history while building the greatest sports arena in the world IS important to him.
And yeah... he has influence on who sits, etc...

Plus you punch your division rival OUT of the playoffs, bumping them back to where they were before this run started.

Re: Dallas will beat the Redskins

This game SHOULD be easy for Washington, given Dallas supposedly has nothing to play for.... but the Giants are in the playoffs... do you really think Dallas wants TWO division rivals in the playoffs?? You know how hard it would be to play 2 different teams 3 times? (Hypothetically speaking)

    Go Cowboys (shudders)
