Dallas Cowboys' Folk aims for more than depth on kickoffs
"In a perfect world, Nick Folk would be able to take his normal run up to his kickoffs and blast away.
But he doesn't live in a perfect world.
"They want it as deep as possible," Folk said, "but at the same time, it's directional kicking. One little step too long or too short, and it's not going to go where you want it."
The Cowboys are the only team in the NFL without a touchback. And Cowboys opponents are starting on average at their 30.1-yard line after kickoffs, which is the best in the NFC. Folk also has sent four kickoffs out of bounds.
Looks like something a yutz Vikings fan would beeeeyatch about..... ;D

Packers did this to themselves
But do blame McCarthy for not finding a way to contain Mark Jones, Just as Jones had brought back kickoffs 42 yards and 51 yards to set up Carolina scores, he immediately followed the go-ahead field goal with a 45-yard return. How in the name of Lombardi does that happen?
I thought this fit better in the kicker thread than it did in the FO thread.
