Jennifer Tavlian, of DenverBroncos.com, reports New York Jets RB Curtis Martin needs 26 yards rushing Week 11 to become the 4th NFL running back to reach 14,000 career rushing yards. With 58 100-yard games, Martin needs one more 100-yard rushing game to tie Hall of Fame RB Jim Brown for 6th all-time in career 100-yard games.
Re: Curtis Martin approaching milestones
i've always like Martin, he's one heck of a football player but it seems he's an even better guy on the field. it's shame that the Jets aren't going to jack anytime soon and mean that he probaly won't get back to the superbowl, which was with the Patriots when Parcells was still there(at least that when i think he got there, sorry if that's a mistake).
:occasion5: here's to Martin getting those milestones today
Re: Curtis Martin approaching milestones
I've always thought Martin was a classy running back also,,,,Just does his job, week in and week out..
Congrats Curtis.....
