Re: Culpepper's Latest Letter - "I retire." - From PFT

    Here's the situation.
Everyone can throw stats all they want.
However I don't see anyone throwing in the win-loss stat, 4th quarter come back stat, or overtime win stat.
When the game was on the line he did not shine.
That is why he is NOT an elite QB.
He was a good QB with great athleticism.
He never learned defenses and relied a lot on probowl calibur players surrounding him.
Whereas Brady has always worked with average WRs his entire career until last year.
Manning made his WRs better becasue of how well he knows the game.
There is no comparing either of these QBs with Culpepper.

Culpepper whined his way out of MN and he has paid for it since.
He made his bed now he is lying in it (probably till 2pm everyday since he has no job).
I liked Culpepper but I didn't like his antics when he emailed his way out of MN.
He handled that without class and now everything is coming around to haunt him.
He's like a little kid crying for attention.
"I can't catch on with a team and it's everyone's fault except for my own."
The HCs and the League Officers have treated me like shit so now I am retiring."
    He is a whiny BITCH!

Got any stats to prove any of that?
To say Culpepper couldn't read a defense is just silly, you don't put up those kind of numbers with out knowing what the defense is doing, even with Moss.

I see many many many players whine

So I dont care too much

If you all hate him so much then you should be glad he got himself out of MN right?

Therefore since he wasnt on the team anyone you shouldnt care what he did after that?

I don't disagree with anything you've said, but having a defense that resembled a sieve
won't help your 4th quarter comebacks..

Culpepper has nobody to blame but himself regarding the stance teams took with him these past 2 offseasons.
Karma's a biotch, enjoy watching the NFL on TV like the rest of us.

without moss the guy couldnt read a defense better than a 5th grader.
    week 1 vs tampa 0tds , 2 ints. qb rating 49.2
week 2 vs cincy 0tds, 5 ints, qb rating
    36.4
    week 3 vs. no 3td, 0 ints, 140 rating
week 4 vs atl 1td, 2 ints, qb rating 74.4
    week 5 bye

I can agree with him on one part though

The NFL has become more about power, money and control than passion, competition and the love of the game.
