Culpepper visiting the Lions
Quote:
The Lions have finally confirmed an earlier report here that free agent quarterback Daunte Culpeper is visiting the team at its Allen Park practice facility. Whether Culpepper will eventually sign a contract with the Lions isn't known.
.....
What makes the Culpepper situation more interesting is that Culpepper was scheduled to visit the Kansas City Chiefs today, presumably to sign a contract, but he canceled that visit, saying that he had a better offer from another club. Culpepper did not identify that team.

No thanks,we have had enough fumbles and interceptions from him to last us a lifetime.C-pep or baby Huey as I call him even fumbled many times without even being touched.I sure hope he gets stuck with the Lions.

Ill give them Gus
He has his fair share of turnovers
Re: Culpepper visiting the Lions
Culpepper is dead to me, and for anyone who has seen him play, he's looks dead on the field as well.
As for the Lions, not even God can help them win a game at this point.
Re: Culpepper visiting the Lions
Mark my words, if Culpepper is starting for the Lions when they play us again this year, they will beat us. For those of you dogging him, please look at who is starting quarterback for the Vikings. I may need to check my info, but I am fairly sure that Daunte wasn't even born yet when Gus entered the league. He still has a lot of good years left in him, too bad that our idiot coach didn't see that three years ago, or we might have a halfway decent football team right now.
Re: Culpepper visiting the Lions
The Vikings secondary would pick off C-Pep all day.
He is a has been who some will argue is a "never was."
Re: Culpepper visiting the Lions
I would love to see Culpepper playing for the lions the next time we meet.
