Culpepper to be ready for training camp

    http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18495532/

“I’m an elite quarterback when I’m healthy,” said Culpepper, who was sacked 21 times in last season’s first four games, the only ones he played in. “So I’m going to work hard.”

Fumblepepper may end up losing his job to Cleo Lemon before it's all over with!

There once was a time that he was elite...but no more!

I am not so sure that he was ever an elite QB but rather a decent QB with good people around him.

Take a look at his stats......

With the exception of 2004 he never was outstanding.
As a matter of fact I think 2005 was a great indicator of what quality of a QB he really was.
Remembering of course that he wasn't hurt until just short of midway through the season.

    2005 - 7 games - 6 TD's - 12 Int (No Moss/CC/Reed)
    Key note:
Mr. Brad Johnson won with the guys Culpeter (oops) Culpepper couldn't win with.

    He's right.

It's hard to say if c-pep is desperate to stay in the NFL or really ready. If I remember correctly he was "ready" last year.
Who decides if he is good to go? The same doctors who didn't clear Brees for a trade? Yeah I think I'll wait and see how this pans out.

    I checked my EMAIL inbasket.....
I didnt get an Email from Pep saying he was ready.....
Did anyone else get an email from him?
I just dont know if this article is true or not...
I'd much rather see the Packers miss the playoffs because of their talent then because of their injuries.
