Cris Carter's Playoff Picks for this weekend.

    Stolen from http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/playoffs;_ylt=AteokntkqE59zfwmbU.iB0JDubYF

    Executive summary:

    Redskins vs Seahawks
Offense: Seattle's offensive line is the best in the NFL
Defense: Gregg Williams has the 'Skins ready, week in and week out
Special teams: 'Hawks get the edge thanks to kicker Josh Brown
Coaching: Both head coaches have championship experience
Intangibles: Qwest Field has one of the more underrated home crowds
Wild card: Matt Hasselbeck ... Doesn't get enough credit as a leader
Cris Carter's Pick: Seattle's run offense hasn't been stopped -- Seahawks

    Patriots vs Broncos
Offense: Denver runs it better, but the Patriots have Tom Brady
Defense: Pats' front seven is better; Denver's secondary is better
Special teams: Excellent pressure kickers in Adam Vinatieri and Jason Elam
Coaching: Bill Belichick gets the nod for the way Pats are playing
Intangibles: The rare air in Denver will be a factor
Wild card: Deion Branch ... Can he duplicate last year's playoff run?
Cris Carter's Pick: I'm a believer in New England -- Patriots

    Steelers vs Colts
Offense: Indianapolis' offense is one of the best of all time
Defense: Speed of the Colts' D is far too much for Steelers to block
Special teams: Steelers get the edge due to Randle El's big-play capability
Coaching: It's even because Cowher is a great coach in the playoffs
Intangibles: Colts have come together since Dungy's family tragedy
Wild card: Indy's momentum from 13-0 start ... Can it be recaptured?
Cris Carter's Pick: Colts are healthy, rested and focused -- Colts

    Panthers vs Bears
Offense: Steve Smith's ability to dominate gives Carolina the edge
Defense: Chicago has the strongest defense in the playoffs
Special teams: Both are fundamentally sound in return and coverage
Coaching: Lovie makes playoff debut, so Fox gets a slight edge
Intangibles: It's Chicago's first home playoff game in four years
Wild card: Muhsin Muhammad ... The Ex-Panther will be fired up
Cris Carter's Pick: Bears' defense will dominate the game -- Bears
-- Sarcasm always turned on --
