Cris Carter the reason we didnt draft Mike Williams???

I had never read that Cris Carter worked out with Mike Williams before he was drafted and ripped him for not working hard.
Maybe that is why we went with Troy Williamson?
If so, good move.

Wow, I am really glad we drafted Williamson. I was so angry when we took him at the start and now he is prving himself

i was never angry over the pick, thought the kid had a lot of potential, plus i knew robby & studwell knew what they were doing

I had mixed emotions at first.
I saw films on Troy at SC and thought this kid knows how to find the endzone.
Then I also thought Mike Williams is big and strong and can be a threat in the redzone.
The fact is Williamson was a better pick them Williams.
Troy still has a lot to learn.
He needs to get a swagger and be confident.
He also needs to look the ball into his hands and not catch with his arms.
When he learns to trust his hands I think it will be a big improvement.
At very least we showed we can be a threat down field and it will keep defenses on their toes and off balance.
