    Cris Carter

Does he have something against the Vikes?
I'm not saying I want him to be a total homer, but show a little love.
To me it seems like he never has anything good to say about them (yeah yeah, whats really good to say
    :).
Anyone know if he considers himself a Vikings fan (not sure if ex-athletes are like that)?
Maybe I'm missing something here and am totally wrong.

well, it is a completely different team then when he was here.
New players, jerseys, owners and a coach that just decimated the team.
hard to stay attached to that team, ESPECIALLY as an analyst, when your supposed to be bias-free

Hell ya he is still pissed about the 98 Vikes!

No just kidding...He is just doing his job.

The rigors of Spartan life. Leonidas is cast out into the wild, and survives the harsh winter to return to his home, when he is crowned King ....a Viking!

He can say what he wants. He has been away from the team for long enough to not really be attached.
    We're bringing purple back.

In all honesty, despite what many people here will say (and most certainly quote this post and chastise me for), we are not an impressive team right now. I'm sorry, but it's true, so I don't blame him for having nothing really positive to say

    Ultra is correct.
    He's an analyst.
He is supposed to be non-biased.
I know there are people out there that are still biased (Faulk) but he is doing his job and that's it.

CC is bad azz but I always felt a slight shift in his attitude toward minny after we lost the 98 championship game. To be honest, even if we had beaten ATL in that game we still had to play a game outdoors against john elway which would not have been an easy task. To be frank, i think we would've lost to denver.
