Cowher says he doesn't plan to coach in '08
http://www.startribune.com/sports/vikings/12549541.html
With all the double talk from coaches I guess this means he will be coaching next year!Former Pittsburgh Steelers coach Bill Cowher said he isn't a candidate for the vacant Atlanta Falcons coaching position or any other that might arise as the NFL season comes to a close.
"I don't plan on coaching in 2008," Cowher said today during "NFL Today" on CBS, where he's working as an analyst this season following 15 years as Pittsburgh's coach.
Cowher was contacted about replacing Bobby Petrino as the Falcons coach after Petrino abruptly quit last week, taking a job with the University of Arkansas, ESPN reported on its website...

When you require nothing, you get nothing; when you expect nothing, you will find nothing; when you embrace nothing, all you will have is nothing.

I am sure he would consider coaching next year if the right job becomes available for him.

This could make big waves where he ends up when he comes back.
With that said, What options would he have this year (realistically)?
Atlanta
Bengals
Ravens
Raiders
Chiefs
Panthers
Giants
49rs
Rams
Panthers - Fox is on the hot seat.
Fairly decent environment (close to home) with a NFC type of mentality.
Giants - Even if they make the playoffs I think Mr. Hitler is in trouble.
Storied enough franchise with the right kindof players/scheme to fit his style.
How would either of those worry/concern us Vikings Fans?
Very little ripples my friend.
Very little ripples.
