    Re: Cowher leaving Pittsburgh!

I like cowhers coaching style. he gets mad easy and does a good job showing the players hes angry. Chilly holds his anger in, and doesnt express his anger, that is why i liked tice. When the players see the coach so mad, it seems like it scares them into playing better.

Hell I wouldn't object to seeing him on our sidelines...and seeing Childress holding the wires to his headset...maybe he could learn something.

If your talking about coaching & not specifically head coaching, of those who are still active, Jeff Fisher is the second longest tenured coach in the NFL behind Pittsburgh Coach Bill Cowher.

How long was Bud Grant coach of the Vikes?
    We need us another Bud!
    Answer:
Throw a TON of money at Cowher to either coach the Vikes NEXT season...or the season AFTER if he wants a year off to recharge his batteries.

    Re: Cowher leaving Pittsburgh!

I dont think this is THAT big of a deal. He'll take a year off and then realize that he misses football and some team that DESPERATLEY needs a head coach will come calling offering him oodles of money and he will go to the job

Thank you Josdin for the sig

I believe they were trying to say that at the time, they were the longest tenured coaches.
And Denny was longer with 1 team.
