Cowher leaving Pittsburgh!
If this is indeed true, Wilf needs to pull an "Alabama" and offer him any amount of money that it would take to lure him to Minnesota to be the head coach!

I would easily sanction firing Childress under THOSE circumstances!!!

But several players said they were certain that if Cowher didn't coach the Steelers next season, he would not coach any team.

Re: Cowher leaving Pittsburgh!
Screw the WCO, let's get Cowher to come in and play smash mouth with some D.
I hate to jump ship here on Chilly, but.....
I never thought they would actually get rid of Cowher, what have you done for me lately?
"Well, I won a SuperBowl less than a year ago, I also was a consistant 10 win a year coach."
Wow!
Denny and Cowher were the longest tenured coaches in the NFL, Denny was let go and Cowher went on for ?? 5 more years ??

Then he will get bored and then when we fire BC in a couple of years he will be able to take over.
I prefer BC gets this team turned around sooner than waiting for Cowher to come back, if indeed he plans to hang it up.
