Cowboys new "Jerrytron" causing major issues

Well I guess this is what a brand new 1.2 billion dollar stadium gets you.
A jumbotron TV that is only 90 feet above the field.
    Pure genius.
And don't ask owner Jerry Jones to move it.
He's as stuck on leaving it where it is as any other 99 year old Bingo enthusiast.

Talking point: Videoboard in way of play

    By Chris Mortensen

Tennessee Titans coach Jeff Fisher was firm in his stance Saturday that the jumbo videoboard at Cowboys Stadium presents "a lot of issues" and the NFL's competition committee that he co-chairs is expected to have a conference call in the near future to discuss the problem.

Titans backup punter A.J. Trapasso hit the large video screen that hangs over the field during the third quarter of the $1.2 billion stadium's inaugural preseason game Friday night. There was confusion because the officiating crew apparently did not see the ball strike the board. Fisher threw his red flag, asking for a replay, even though the play was not reviewable.....
    Skol!
    Go Vikings!

They did. And their contract certainly had a clause in it that saod something like "Not responsible for anything that is wrong"

Hopefully there aren't any here who will be offended but I really despise engineers.

Well I'm an electrical engineer and would like to subject your privates to at least 10,000 volts, maybe more. >

Just kidding, I am an electrical contractor with own business, and the engineers I've ran into are book smart, but dumber than a box of rocks when it comes to street smarts. Not all of course.
I bet you could use a cool one huh Clark...Now you're talkin Eddie...

I thought it was the Amps that did it. ;D

Ya you're right, the current flow determines most of the dammage, but you need voltage to push it.

I thought that the screen's hight would be a problem when the screen was announced.
I also worried how stable it would be.
I hope it doesn't fall down onto the field and kill a bunch of players.
