Cowboys Hate Thread

Ok, I am going to have to "out" myself and state that I am a Vikings fan living in Dallas Texas, the heart of darkess... (well, ok. It is not Green Bay, but it is almost that bad). I just need to post here how much I detest the "Boys". Where to even begin ?:

- Jerrry Jones - blowhard multi-millionaire who thinks owning oil wells = being a GM of an NFL team.
- "Pac Man" Jones - the Cowboys have no self-respect, and will stoop to "acquiring" felons and other criminals
- T.O. - The "Paris Hilton" of the NFL (86ed from at least 6 nightclubs in Dallas, as I hear it)
- Roy Williams - can't cover to save his life
- "5 Rings" - they still talk about this, even though they haven't won a playoff game since the Clinton administration
- Tackling - or, should I say, lack of it. See Giants game from 2007.

Have I left anything out ?

Well you are not alone here in The Lone Star State.
I live in Benbrook/SW Tarrant County.
I have hated the Cowboys for 40+ years.
Cowboy fans are the worst.
Did you notice as soon as the Cryboys got booted from the playoffs, none of them watched the rest of the NFL playoffs?
So typical.
I can't tell how many times I have heard "You should leave Texas if you don't like Da' boys"
They don't even make notice that Texas has another team in Houston.
GOD I HATE COWBOY FANS!!!
The rest of my brothers and sisters left the Vikes and cheer for Dallas.
Makes me sick.
At Christmas I always put "bubba teeth" in and a Cowboy hat and pretend I am a Cowboy fan.
They just hate it.

Good to know I am not the only one here in Texas who feels this way. I totally know what you mean, too. Roger Staubach once said, "Dallas fans love you, win or tie".

Kind of says it all, no ?

BTW, Cowboys: if you can't tackle, you don't deserve to be in the playoffs !!

Oh, how could I have forgotten: "America's Team"....

Funny, last I checked, I am American, and it is not my Team !!

Wahh Wahhh Wahhh, somebody call the Wahhmbulance.
I can justify my hate of the Yankees because they have a payroll 3 or 4 times the payroll of my Twins.
But the cowboys have won games by talent and management, not an unlimited budget.
I love how people hate on the Cowboys yet deep down they just wish they had a team ran as well as the Cowboys over the decades.

Edit: Sorry if you were actually offended, I'm not totally anti-Cowboys, I even have friends that are Cowboys fans.

It just seems like you like to go against the grain of the "sea of idiots" for no reason sometimes, I'm sure most people are aware that the Cowboys have done a good job putting together an accomplished team of felons.

Loosen up.

And Screw the Yankees too!
