Corey Williams going to the Lions

Report: Browns trading Corey Williams to Lions

    by Michael David Smith

Chris Mortensen of ESPN is reporting that unnamed sources say Williams will land with the Lions in exchange for a late-round draft pick. Mortensen writes that Williams is scheduled to take a physical on Friday to finalize the trade from the Browns to the Lions.
Corey Williams. Rising star in GB. Got traded for a 2nd to the Browns. Failed horribly over there and is now traded to the Lions for a late round pick.

    Good job, Mr. Thompson.

That said, there's a lot of speculation about the Lions going after Van Den Bosch and drafting Suh. Assuming that Williams will be playing better football in a 4-3 than in a 3-4 defense, that Lions front might get quite scary....
