I don't think Smith will win it. They usually don't give it to players who didn't play the year before because of injury.

Most of these guys resurrected their careers after playing badly in the past. IT wasn't injury that slowed them down.

Carson Palmer wouldn't qualify as a comeback player, that's somebody that was a star and then fell off, and came back when not many people expected it.

I'd say Brunell. Bledsoe was still putting up respectable numbers with Buffalo, he just couldn't get them in the playoffs. K-Rob and BJohnson, while both have had a tremendous impact on our team, and have had great comeback seasons, neither has played a full year, that's why I'd go with Brunell.

I honestly have to say that K-Rob and Steve Smith will be up for the award. And of course all of us here in Viking Land want K-Rob to win it.

Like I said, he wouldn't qualify as comeback player of the year, but I wouldn't be surprised if he got a couple MVP votes. That's an interesting race this year, you don't have one guy assaulting the record books like Manning did last year.

Shaun Alexander
Peyton Manning
Edgerrin James
Carson Palmer
Ladainian Tomlinson
Jake Plummer

A couple other guys could be mentioned, but I doubt would get any first place votes.
