    thank god.
I got tired of all the fucking lobbying from each side for us to parrot their position on the site so we could sway opinion.

Comcast can eat me any day of the week with their outrageous pricing, but the NFL network were complete douchenozzles on this too.

Re: Comcast reaches deal with NFL Network

I saw on CNBC that the deal was done for 40-45 cents per subscriber.

That is almost half of the 70 cents that they wanted.

I see the TV going to internet based anyway, pay as you go, so the NFLN might as well get what they can now for their product.
    Just a thought!

Your cable bill is finding a way to add that 40-45 cents into it while we speak.
    LOL

LOL, remember "that one" price increase three years ago, that was to cover the cost of the NFLN.

That would be more like it.
    LOL!

The increase you see next month will be for the upcoming Donald Trump reality TV network channel, expected in 2013.

I thought you were one that was upset with NFLN for being to high priced in this fight.

This means good news for other cable companies finally getting the NFLN also.

Did your cable company already get a deal with NFLN?

Question, if Comcast does get to add the NFLN to it's list of channels, will they also be offering a package for NFL Games, so their customers can actually watch live games of their choice?
Like I already get with Direct TV
    Satelite service.....

    Not sure about that Ned.

It probably matters if the NFL Ticket has an exclusive with DTV.

I "think" that the NBA does a deal with both Comcast and DTV.

I would "think" that the NFL would want to because it would open up more streams of money by opening up the number of people they can reach.
Most people in Apartments for those that places where they can't get a signal from the southern sky, can't be customers at this time.
By getting into cable, they would have more possible customers.
