Colts fire DC Coyer, replace with LB coach
The Indianapolis Colts today terminated the contract of Defensive Coordinator Larry Coyer. His interim replacement is the Colts' Linebackers coach.
Apparently there was some friction between Coyer and management over the style of defense he wanted to run. Something about moving away from the Tampa Cover 2, but I am not sure who was on which side. Sound famliar?

The Colts defense was more aggressive this week, and they won.
The Tampa 2 is outdated and difficult to run well in the best of times.
