Coaches Call Rodney Harrison Dirtiest Player

COACHES CALL RODNEY HARRISON DIRTIEST PLAYER

Posted by Michael David Smith on July 1, 2008, 1:22 p.m. EDT

In an effort to find out who’s the dirtiest player in the NFL, ESPN.com surveyed head coaches and asked them to name just one player who’s the dirtiest of them all.

Of the 17 coaches who supplied an answer, 11 of them chose Patriots safety Rodney Harrison.

Past or present...who would you pick as the dirtiest player in the NFL?

I always felt that Warren Sapp was a dirty player that got a free pass because he was a media darling.
I thought he was over rated at his position....because of strong linebackers and DB's his numbers were inflated.
Iknow Chokeland was near the end of his career, but he certainly didnt show much without the backfield support.
I'd much rather see the Packers miss the playoffs because of their talent then because of their injuries.

If they had included dirtiest players of all time, Lyle Alzado would be near the top.

My #1 pick is Conrad Dobler, #2 just about anyone from the old Raiders.

Bill Romanowski would have to be up there somewhere.

I got to eat lunch with Bill Romo last year, and let me tell you... the dude is intense. He destroys your soul with his eyes.

Joe Green....remember when he punched the broncos center in the stomach and sent him out of the game?
then his replacement came in and he did the same thing again?

I will never be able to be remotely happy about a player getting injured.

But I too remember thinking of those asshole fans as ignorant

Thanks to PPE for the sig.

First off...
How in the world did you get to eat with Bill Romanowski and not end up with a broken jaw?
Dang.

Second, I agree with your first statement.
