For Coaches, boring wins
A point made on the radio today: boring coaches win, in the NFL. The flamboyant guy like Mike Singletary, who you would love to have a beer with, loses. The boring coach who just grinds teams down with his coaching (Tom Coughlin, Tony Dungy, Brad Childress, etc.) win. Good point. A coach doesn't have to be your best buddy, for you to get a ring, either.

Bahahahaha....
Yeah... I think "Win" and I think Brad Childress. He still has a career losing record... not to mention Singletary has coached in a pair of games, and you're using him as a basis for this.
That was a hilarious post though, thanks for the laughs.Disclaimer: I'm an idiot.

It's true though C Mac D
The coaches used weren't good examples.. But you win by getting a lead and protecting it
Unless you are the Patriots of last year who blew everyone out

Either way, Gruden won a Superbowl... I don't think he's boring, either in his game plan or personality.Disclaimer: I'm an idiot.

I don't know about having a beer with Singletary.
You make one jackass remark to him and he's likely to shove his beer can through your face.
Hard to see him letting loose at a bar with the boys.

I think the word boring isn't right. Its those with brains still left from not playing.
We're bringing purple back.
